No parents want to think about what would happen to their families if they should unexpectedly die or become incapacitated, but according to Alexis Martin Neely in her book Wear Clean Underwear, that's exactly what needs to be done.
Easy to Understand
Wear Clean Underwear is written in a friendly "choose your own adventure" format. Even parents who have little to know knowledge or understanding of legal planning will be able to follow along with the stories that Neely has written.
The book follows three couples with their children; the stories include that of Sara and Carlos, Alex and Chelsea, and You and Aiko. "You" are always the main character of the story, with a spouse who has a gender-neutral name. You must make several decisions in each story based on your current legal planning situation. Neely follows each choice through to the end to see how your decision will impact your children and your surviving spouse. The decisions you make do not always work out the way you might think they will.
